AI-Integrity Layer · Built by an active organizer & peer reviewer

Catch fabricated references before your reviewers do.

Conference review piles are filling with AI-fabricated citations, hallucinated DOIs, and orphan references that CMT and EasyChair don't catch. MyCMS screens every submission at intake — flags each defect, names the offending citation, and leaves the verdict with your chair. Built by an active conference organizer and peer reviewer at mycms.my.

The integrity layer your reviewers don't have time for.

Cross-reference integrity catches fabricated citations, orphan references, broken DOIs, and mis-numbered figures.
Every flag is reviewable and overridable by your chair — never an automated reject.

01

Page Count

Real PDF page count extracted directly from the file — not estimated. Admin sets a min/max per conference. The only deterministic check in the pipeline.

AI-Content Detection

AI scores how much of the paper reads as machine-generated. Returns 0–100 plus up to three specific reasons. Advisory by design — we recommend flag, not auto-reject.

Format Match · Vision

AI reads the submitted PDF and the conference template as native documents. Compares column count, margins, line spacing, heading style, caption placement. Template tokens cached — ~90% cheaper from submission #2 onwards.

Cross-Reference Integrity

The wedge. Catches AI-fabricated references, broken DOIs, orphan bibliography entries, missing in-text citations, citation order on first mention, mis-numbered figures and tables. Names the exact offender — "Ref [12] in bibliography never cited."

Visible to your chair on every submission. Every flag links to AI's reasoning. Always overridable — never an automated reject.

And every presenter's name — announced correctly.

A bonus for international conferences. A "Hear name" button on every presentation in the program. AI returns native script + a phonetic hint with the stressed syllable in CAPS. Your browser's neural voice speaks the native script — far more accurate than a Latin approximation. 30+ languages.

How It Works

From submission to verdict

MyCMS sits between author submission and your TPC's queue.
The integrity layer runs, your chair reviews the flags, the verdict is yours.

01
📄

Author Submits

Clean submission portal accepts PDF or DOCX. Co-author management, downloadable template, and full submission history — all built in.

02
🔬

Integrity Layer Runs

AI screens the submission at intake. Cross-reference integrity is the headline check; four supporting checks cover format, citation style, AI content, and page count. Takes seconds.

03
🧑‍⚖️

Chair Reviews Flags

Your chair sees an integrity score and AI's reasoning per flag — which citation is fabricated, which figure is mis-numbered. Every flag is overridable.

04

Reviewers Get Clean Papers

Only submissions that clear chair review reach reviewers. Faster review cycle, higher proceedings quality, fewer integrity surprises at indexing time.

Platform Features

Built for chairs. Run on conviction.

The integrity layer is the reason MyCMS exists. The rest of the platform — multi-conference, roles, payments, certificates — is table stakes, but every piece is built.

🔬

AI-Integrity Screening

AI reads every submission at intake — flags fabricated references, orphan citations, format drift, mis-numbered figures. Names the exact offender. Decision-support for your chair, never an automated reject.

🧠

💳

Stripe · Zero Platform Fee

Per-conference Stripe credentials, configurable fees, coupons, auto-generated invoice PDFs. 100% of registration revenue goes to your conference — no platform cut.

Program Builder & Certificates

Timezone-aware session scheduling, attendance tracking, program-handbook generation. Auto-generated digital certificates for authors, presenters, attendees, and extra reviewers with QR verification.

🎓

Built by an Active Reviewer

Designed by a conference organizer and peer reviewer who specializes in detecting fabricated references — not a generic SaaS team optimizing for feature count. Pilot: December IEEE-cosponsored conference.

Head-to-head

Integrity screening: where the wedge is.

MyCMS competes on what incumbents don't offer. Submission and peer-review management is table stakes everywhere — cross-reference integrity at intake is what CMT, EasyChair, and OpenReview don't run.

FAQ

Questions chairs ask first.

What is MyCMS, exactly?
MyCMS is the AI-integrity layer for academic conferences. An AI screens every submission at intake for fabricated references, broken DOIs, orphan citations, format drift, and mis-numbered figures. Every flag is reviewable and overridable by the conference chair — decision-support, never an automated reject.
Why focus on AI-fabricated references?
Conference review piles are increasingly polluted with AI-fabricated citations and hallucinated DOIs that look plausible but reference papers that don't exist. CMT and EasyChair don't screen for this. MyCMS does, at intake, before a human reviewer ever opens the file.
Does MyCMS auto-reject submissions?
By default, no. The reputational risk of a wrongly-rejected paper is serious, and AI screening will produce false positives. Every flag is reviewable, explainable, and overridable by the chair. Auto-reject is opt-in per rule; we recommend keeping AI-based rules as flag-only.
Is reviewer matching available now?
Expertise-based reviewer matching by publication history is on the 2026 roadmap and in active development with our pilot conference. Contact us if you want early access.
Is MyCMS free to use?
Yes — pilot conferences run free with integrity screening on up to 2 submissions per conference (25 submissions total, no credit card required). Paid tiers start at $2 per submission for unlimited screening, or $400 plus $1 per submission for the full platform with conference website (50% off the regular $800 setup through end of 2026).
Can I run multiple conferences from one installation?
Yes. MyCMS is multi-conference with full data isolation, per-conference Stripe credentials, per-conference integrity rules, and one-click duplication. Authors keep one profile across every conference on the platform.
